About Tastedle
A daily food-reasoning game — and a growing library of world cuisine.
The idea
Tastedle started from a simple frustration: food “guess the country” games are really just world-map quizzes. We wanted a game that rewards knowing food — where ingredients and cooking methods are real clues, and being directionally right still counts. Around the game we’re building an open, fast, indexable library of the world’s dishes and cuisines.

Dish descriptions and photos come from Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons, used under CC BY-SA with attribution shown beneath each image. Tastedle is an independent project and is not affiliated with any restaurant, brand or tourism body.
Roadmap
This is an early release with a hand-picked set of iconic dishes. Coming next: many more dishes, per-dish and per-cuisine pages, and a daily three-dish challenge. Spotted a mistake or have a dish to suggest? We’d love to hear it.
